Cashmere – Gentle Little Survivor Looking for a Foster-to-Adopt Home Cashmere is a sweet approximately 1.5–2-year-old small mixed breed weighing around 15 lbs. Despite everything he has been through, he remains incredibly gentle, loving, and affectionate. Cashmere’s story is heartbreaking. He was found abandoned in a trash lot, sleeping inside a discarded couch while trying to survive on his own. Thankfully, he was rescued before his condition became even worse. When he first came into rescue, Cashmere was suffering from severe skin issues and discomfort. With proper veterinary care, nutrition, medicated baths, and love, his skin has healed beautifully, and he is feeling so much better. Now, Cashmere is finally ready for the next chapter of his life. Cashmere is a sensitive, gentle little dog who thrives with kindness and patience. He can initially be shy in new environments, but once he feels safe, he becomes very affectionate and loyal. He would do best in a calm, loving home willing to continue helping him build confidence and feel secure. Because Cashmere is still continuing his recovery journey and follow-up care through our rescue, he is currently available as a foster-to-adopt through Loving PAWSabilities, Inc.
