We’ll have DOGS, PUPPIES & KITTIES ready to steal your heart! ALSO THIS WEEKEND: SATURDAY, MAY 30 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes! WEEKEND SHELTER HOURS FOR ADOPTIONS: SATURDAY, MAY 30: CLOSED (Visit our pet adoption events!) SUNDAY, MAY 31: OPEN 10AM - 3PM, NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED! KCK Animal Services is located at 3301 Park Drive, KCK. ——————— What a doll! POKEY is an adorable little guy with the best personality! He is playful and silly and he loves people. He also loves squeaky toys and is so cute carrying them around! Pokey is also good with other dogs and he's good with cats with a proper introduction. Pokey is a one year old American Bulldog mix and he weighs 43 lbs-- he's a nice medium size. ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
