Meet our Sweet STELLA! STELLA is expected to arrive in Maine in mid-June and is searching for a family willing to look beyond labels and see the wonderful dog waiting underneath. This adorable little fluffernutter weighs approximately 13 pounds and is believed to have some Chow in her mix. While some people may focus on breed names, we believe every dog deserves the chance to be known as an individual. STELLA didn’t ask to end up needing rescue. She didn’t ask for uncertainty to be part of her story. Yet here she is, hoping someone will give her the opportunity every dog deserves—a safe home, a loving family, and a future filled with possibility. Like all rescue dogs, STELLA is still growing into the dog she is meant to become. We don’t know every detail about her future personality, and that’s part of the adventure. What we do know is that she deserves patience, kindness, and a family willing to help her discover just how wonderful life can be.
