This sweet little 2-year-old Russian Blue girl was found with an extremely swollen third eye lid due to an injury that resulted in an enucleation of her left eye. The caretakers of her colony gave her kittens away when they were just three weeks old, leaving her alone, in pain, full of milk, and wondering where her babies are. We were told that in her short life, she has had four litters already. Despite her circumstances, she has remained so sweet and trusting of humans, without a feral bone in her body. She is great with other cats, dogs, and children! We took her in and she shows her gratitude each day with the warmest snuggles and the sweetest purrs. Losing her eye had absolutely no effect on her ability to get around or on the level of adoration she so endlessly gives. She loves to sleep on your pillow or curled up next to you in bed.
