Meet Skipper! Skipper is 7 years old and one of 16 dogs who recently made the journey to us from Puerto Rico in search of a brighter future. From the Vieques Humane Society: This golden boy is as mellow as they come. He loves to lounge around for most of the day, especially after enjoying his walks. Skipper appreciates his quiet time curled up in his bed and does well with other dogs. He’s house trained and absolutely loves belly scratches. Skipper is simply looking for someone to share his golden years with—relaxing, unwinding, and enjoying the simple things in life together. His owner unexpectedly had to leave the island and, heartbreakingly, couldn’t take him along. Now Skipper is ready for a new home where he can settle in and be loved.
