About Tuna Luna
Tuna Luna, along with her best friend Balto, forms a striking bonded pair of Siberian Huskies who are searching for a home that can keep them together. They were recently returned to the shelter through no fault of their own, and staff are reconnecting with them, but their previous home shared glowing feedback. Both were known as gentle, well-mannered, and patient with children, displaying playfulness and a knack for soaking up affection, especially Luna. Around new people, they tend to be a little shy at first and appreciate a calm environment, but settle in smoothly given time. Trips to the vet or groomer are no trouble for these two, making them easy housemates. At home, Tuna Luna and Balto lean toward a relaxed lifestyle, content to nap but quick to perk up for meals, walks, or time with their people. Balto has a confident streak while Luna is more easygoing, following his lead, which keeps their dynamic harmonious. Both love toys, especially Kongs, and are always ready for a car ride. Walks can get spirited if anything catches their eyes, but they respond well to good equipment and guidance. Like many huskies, they may chase small animals outdoors. Luna in particular is adventurous, so secure supervision is best. Their bond is obvious—they eat, nap, and hang out together, and really do best as a team. Open your doors to these sweet, loyal companions and you'll never be lonely. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
