Lady is a large, adult female Husky/Alaskan Malamute mix currently being cared for at All Shepherd Rescue. She is spayed and house trained, bringing experience and good manners to her future home. Lady does not get along with cats, but she loves the company of other dogs and is particularly well-suited for active families or those with another canine companion. She thrives in family settings with children aged 10 and older.

Her gentle eyes and wagging tail show just how affectionate she is with people, making her a favorite among both friends and strangers. Lady is a true social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. She absolutely loves the outdoors—especially when it snows! While she isn’t too fond of rainy days, her playful, perky spirit truly shines in colder weather, just as you’d expect from a Husky mix. Lady dreams of a family with a yard where she can run and play fetch, ideally with another dog as a companion. She is fantastic with children aged 10 and older, making her a great addition to families with older kids. Lady has recently completed basic obedience training and is both crate-trained and house-trained. She was found as a stray but clearly once belonged to a loving home, given her manners. Lady proved herself to be a wonderful mother to her eight puppies. While in care, she was treated for heartworm successfully and had some benign mammary tumors removed, with a few small nodules still under observation. If your vet recommends further removal, the rescue will cover the cost. Lady’s DNA is truly unique!
