About Chucho
Is Chucho part chupacabra? Maybe. At first, he puts on a tough face, bravely sizing up strangers and acting like the worldâs tiniest land-piranha. But beneath that bluster is a small dog whoâs just unsure. Once he lets his guard down and knows youâre safe, youâll see silly, playful energy and more than a little mischief. Chucho is about two years old and ended up at the shelter after his elderly owner couldnât care for him anymore. Transition isnât easy for himâpatience up front goes a long way. On arrival, he was all bark and bravado. Now, with time and gentle boundaries, heâs showing a friendlier, sweeter side. The first few days, youâll want to keep a leash on and let him warm up at his own pace. He thrives on routine, comfort, and stuffed toys to boss around. Once comfortable, heâs loyal, loves to burrow into blankets, and will make you laugh daily. If you have an appreciation for dogs with spirit, a knack for letting them come around at their own speed, and want a feisty but devoted little companion, Chucho could be the one.
