About Lemmy

Lemmy, like his namesake Lemuel Gulliver, has already traveled quite the path. At two years old, he and his brother Silas were taken in as strays in northeast Minneapolis, then surrendered to Paws and Claws when their caretaker couldn’t juggle so many cats. Lemmy can be skittish at first—he’ll dash away from strangers—but give him time, and he warms up into an affectionate, friendly guy. Despite his early life outdoors mingling with other strays, Lemmy has adapted well to the comforts of an indoor home, but he’ll need plenty of scratching posts and sturdy cat furniture to keep happy. He’s not picky about food, but does enjoy his Purina One Tender Selects and Friskies pâté. Lemmy gets along with other cats, and it’s important to know he and Silas are a bonded pair who must be adopted together. He’s hoping his next adventure is as part of a loving family in Rochester, MN. Click apply to start the adoption process.
