About Hiccup & Astrid

Hiccup & Astrid are a bonded pair of English Bulldogs in northern New Jersey searching for a foster-to-adopt home that can keep them together. They both need some basic medical care, including bloodwork, surgeries, and updated vaccines, all covered by the rescue. Ideally, their new family is comfortable with English Bulldogs and willing to see a bulldog-experienced veterinarian. Both dogs are highly food motivated, enjoy being outdoors, and thrive with plenty of structure and patience. Hiccup is a big, energetic guy at around 65 lbs who loves car rides and playtime. He's neutered, house trained (and familiar with pee pads), but could use further leash and behavioral training. He knows a few basic commands, isn’t crate trained, and should not live with other male dogs. Astrid, about 60 lbs, is sweet and affectionate, housetrained, and also prefers being close to her people. She’ll need to be spayed and has double cherry eye that will require care. Like Hiccup, she’s not crate trained. Both dogs are used to a fenced yard, sleep together every night, and love their routine of home-cooked meals. A home with older children, no other male dogs, and a secure yard would be the best fit. These two deserve a caring, steady home where they can remain together as a pair. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
