About Banjo
Banjo came up from a packed shelter in Texas and has turned plenty of heads with his striking ears and big, expressive personality. He’s got a soft spot for people—loves meeting new faces, leans in close for attention, and soaks up affection anytime he can get it. Banjo makes a point to greet you with those wags and that goofy, eager-to-please energy. He’s easy to leash and follows handlers calmly in and out of his kennel. If he's left alone with bedding, watch out: he might turn his bed into confetti, so a little supervision is smart. With his typical breed energy, Banjo thrives on activity and would do best with someone ready for long walks, games, and plenty of play. He’s good around other dogs and held his own with a variety of canine fosters; just be ready for some rough-and-tumble play, as his style is on the pushy, physical side—best for homes with another confident dog. He was also fostered with cats and did well, showing curiosity but not crossing any boundaries. If you want a lively, affectionate companion who’s always ready to go, Banjo’s happy personality will keep you on your toes. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
