About Syrup
Syrup, a 10-week-old black-and-white pit bull mix, is all heart and affection. In her foster home, she has shown an impressive knack for making friends—she quickly bonded with the resident dogs, reading their signals, joining the pack, and even figuring out the doggie door within a few days. Her confidence shows up everywhere, whether she’s racing the other pups into the backyard or using the family Aussie as a nap buddy. Syrup gets along beautifully with children too. She currently lives with a 5-year-old and handles the noise, chaotic play, and excitement without missing a beat, happily soaking up attention from daycare crowds. Her affectionate streak is strong—she insists on being a lap dog whenever possible. She’s making steady progress with potty training and already has several accident-free days behind her. Nights go smoothly, with Syrup waking her foster family when she needs a bathroom break. Like most young pups, Syrup still doesn’t love being alone and is adjusting to crate training. She’ll do best with a patient adopter who can help her build confidence in this area. Syrup is eager, smart, and happiest in a home with another friendly, confident dog to guide her as she grows into the perfect companion. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
