Meet Spike! Spike is a lovable, adventure-ready pup with the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly sweetness. This handsome boy is a total love bug who adores affection so much that he’ll gently paw at you for more pets when you stop. Whether he’s curling up for cuddles or heading out for a fun car ride, Spike is happiest spending time with his people. Spike loves exploring the world and gets excited anytime a car door opens—he’s always ready for the next adventure! He has plenty of energy for playtime and zoomies, but settles down beautifully at home and has been doing wonderfully in an apartment setting. He’s also been house-trained in foster care and hasn’t had any accidents. Like many dogs, Spike is still working on feeling confident in busy apartment hallways and elevators, where he can sometimes be reactive to unfamiliar people. He’s already started positive reinforcement training and is making progress with support and guidance. Spike has otherwise done well with other dogs and would thrive with an adopter who can continue helping him build confidence while giving him the love and companionship he craves.
