I came into the shelter, was adopted out into a home that everyone thought was going to work with me. They gave me away to someone else, who then also gave me a way and just let me go. Another county shelter picked me up, called and had my first adopter come get me out of jail, and HSoMC took me back as a surrender from them. This type of inconsistency is damaging to my behavior and growth. I am a very SWEET puppy, I just don’t know anything, I should have been taught to recall, be fully housebroken, not to jump up, how to sit, how to lay down and how to walk on a leash, but I was only taught how to move from family to family. I will be better with older kids, as I don’t understand my size. The staff think I will be good with dogs, but really don’t know yet about cats.
