About Figgy

Figgy is a scruffy little terrier who’s beaten the odds. At just 17 pounds and about 15 months old, he arrived at rescue at only 10 months, already battling a dangerous heartworm infection. He’s since made a full recovery and you can see it in the way he bolts through life, sharp-eyed and ready for the next adventure. He’s housebroken, crate-trained, and up for any car ride you offer—always up for a look out the window or a stroll around the block. A watchdog at heart, Figgy loves walks and will happily fill you in on neighborhood happenings. He gets along with other dogs but could hold his own as an only pet or even as the pack’s alpha. Apartment life won’t suit him; he needs a real home with space to stretch out and show you just how much he’s got left to give. Figgy wants to bond with his people and settle into his forever home, where he can finally relax and belong. Fun fact: With a birthday on February 18, Figgy is an Aquarius—adaptable, social, never boring. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
