About Ray

Ray is a gentle, big-hearted English Bulldog/Terrier mix whose easy temperament shines through despite a rough past. After being abandoned, he landed at Abandoned Pet Rescue in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he's become a real favorite among volunteers. With his creamy white and tan coat and slow, steady gait, Ray makes an impression just by walking into the room. He’s an older guy, about 11 and a half, and deals with typical senior stuff like arthritis and dry eyes, but he’s incredibly cooperative for his eye drops and still manages to wag his tail at everyone he meets. Ray is house trained and prefers a leisurely stroll, taking his time to sniff and enjoy the world. He’s happy for some kisses and loves to cuddle up with people during downtime. Ray genuinely gets along with most, including other dogs and kids, though he isn’t the best match for a home with cats. Volunteers who’ve taken him out all come back raving about how sweet and well-behaved he is. Ray is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Born under Scorpio, he's loyal and loves routine. He deserves a stable home where he can bask in slow walks and enjoy plenty of affection. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
