Snickers
AvailableSnickers is a medium-sized, short-coated, neutered male with harlequin markings currently in Sonora, CA. He’s an adult dog, house trained, and his vaccinations are up to date. Snickers gets along with dogs and children but should not be placed in a home with cats.
About Snickers
Snickers picked up his new name thanks to his sweet temperament, the brown accents on his coat, and that endearing, goofy ear—one up, one down. He’s a truly affectionate dog who seeks out attention and doesn’t mind sleeping near you, but he can settle in by himself just fine. With dogs, Snickers gets along well, especially with seniors, but he’s not a match for cats—he’s gotten more confident over time and now chases them. Snickers has yet to crack kenneling: he’s downright afraid of it and won’t step inside, not even for treats, so crate training might be a non-starter. He is not food aggressive and enjoys carrying stuffed animals, although fetching and dropping them are skills he’s still learning. On the leash, he handles himself well and is responsive to redirection. Because he’s a medium-sized dog who isn’t quite aware of his own strength, older kids would fare best with him—he could accidentally bowl over a smaller child in his excitement. Snickers greets everyone with a friendly attitude but needs a home without cats. If you’re looking for an affectionate companion who loves to be part of the action and gets along with other dogs, Snickers might be just who you need. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
