About Snickers
Snickers picked up his new name thanks to his sweet temperament, the brown accents on his coat, and that endearing, goofy earāone up, one down. Heās a truly affectionate dog who seeks out attention and doesnāt mind sleeping near you, but he can settle in by himself just fine. With dogs, Snickers gets along well, especially with seniors, but heās not a match for catsāheās gotten more confident over time and now chases them. Snickers has yet to crack kenneling: heās downright afraid of it and wonāt step inside, not even for treats, so crate training might be a non-starter. He is not food aggressive and enjoys carrying stuffed animals, although fetching and dropping them are skills heās still learning. On the leash, he handles himself well and is responsive to redirection. Because heās a medium-sized dog who isnāt quite aware of his own strength, older kids would fare best with himāhe could accidentally bowl over a smaller child in his excitement. Snickers greets everyone with a friendly attitude but needs a home without cats. If youāre looking for an affectionate companion who loves to be part of the action and gets along with other dogs, Snickers might be just who you need. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
