About Stella Longtime Resident

Stella is a 7-month-old Great Pyrenees/Husky mix who urgently needs a home. She’s been part of the Kern County Animal Services population for over three weeks, and every day counts. Right now, she and hundreds of other dogs are housed in metal warehouses that lack outdoor spaces—a tough setup for a young, energetic pup like her. Stella is still learning the ropes and isn’t house trained yet. Her medium-length coat is a beautiful blend of white, cream, and fawn. At her age, she’s open to new experiences and eager for companionship but will need structure and patience. Stella is spayed and current on her vaccines, and transport help may be available for West Coast adopters.  If you’re in Kern County and could foster, or if you’re prepared to adopt and offer her a real shot at a good life, now is the time.
