We found her in the middle of the road, eating trash, alongside her friend—injured, starving, and out of options. Her leg was broken. Both of her eyes were painfully infected. It was just days before Christmas. We couldn’t leave her there. Today, Paloma is safe, healing, and still—despite everything—so full of love. At 80 pounds, she’s like having your very own polar bear. Soft, stunning, and deeply gentle. She loves people. She loves children. She may be a little shy at first, but give her a moment—and she’ll melt into you like she’s always belonged there. Her leg is now 90% healed and improving every day. Her entropion surgery was a success, and she is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and fully vetted.
