AvailableHarley is a male labradoodle mix with a medium build and curly black coat, currently in Alexandria, LA. He’s about a year old, freshly neutered, and his vaccinations are up to date. While he isn’t house trained yet, he’s eager to learn and enjoys the company of people and other dogs.
About Harley
Harley comes with the kind of backstory that sticks with you. This one-year-old labradoodle mix arrived at the shelter after a rough start, left outside on a chain and so neglected he needed to be shaved down to the skin. The before photos say it all. But what’s remarkable is how little the past seems to weigh him down. Harley lights up around people—there’s no fear, just a goofy, affectionate nature and an easy happiness that wins everyone over. At about 50 pounds, he’s got the build for hikes and adventures, yet nimble enough not to bulldoze the whole house when he gets the zoomies. He gets along well with other dogs and would do better in an active household, finally given the chance to be part of a family instead of watching life pass by from outside. Harley brings a fresh energy and a good dose of playfulness, ready to be someone’s sidekick for all of life’s moments, big and small. He’s freshly shaved, still working on house training, and ready to leave the past behind. Already vaccinated and neutered, he’s fully prepared to start his new chapter. Ready to fall in love?
