About Wade

Wade is a 5-month-old Bernedoodle who’s already the heart-stealer in his foster home. At about 28 lbs, he’s a soft, fluffy, and smart pup who hasn’t had much chance to learn the ins and outs of home life until now. He’s a little mischievous—as any puppy would be—and sometimes gets mouthy, but he’s eager to learn and connect with his new family. Wade’s personality stands out: he’s attentive, curious, and genuinely wants to be part of every family activity. He loves meeting people and other dogs, enjoys toys, walks, and is a natural car companion. His bond with his foster parents is strong—he likes to stay close and follows them everywhere, making it clear he’s happiest near his people. At night, Wade settles quietly on a dog bed in his foster’s room, sleeping soundly as long as he feels close to the family. Potty training is still in progress, but he’s picking things up with consistency and encouragement. Despite being in a new environment, Wade has been impressively calm and gentle, showing lots of affection. Continued training and socialization, plus regular grooming, will be important since the world’s still pretty new to him—especially anything involving clippers. He’ll do best with patient, positive introductions to new experiences and plenty of ongoing support. If you’re searching for a sweet, loving puppy who wants to stick by your side, Wade could be your perfect match. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
