He has a gentle spirit and friendly nature, which shows in his interactions with both humans and other animals.
About Sonic
Sonic, affectionately known as Max (or Maximus Decimus Meridius, if you’re in a gladiator mood), is the total puppy package—clever, snuggly, and always game for a good time. His pale yellow fur and deep, soulful eyes are pure puppy charisma, serving as an instant invitation for cuddle sessions. He lights up when he gets to be with you, happy whether he’s chasing after a toy or just settling down in your lap. This pup really knows how to have a blast; tug-of-war, fetch, and puzzle toys are right up his alley. He may be young, but he’s sharp—give him a Kong and a sunbeam and he’ll solve his own little puzzles all day. He’s practiced at good puppy habits: he’s making strides in potty training, especially with a routine and attentive humans. Manners-wise, he knows how to sit, is learning “lie down” and “leave it,” and is picking up recall and staying skills. Bath time and nail trims are easy. He’s getting used to a harness, prepping for proper adventures once vaccinations are complete. Mealtimes are smooth, handled in the crate, with no food aggression—he eats calmly with cats, humans, even his brother nearby. He gets along with all his animal buddies, plays well with teenagers, is gentle with cats, and likes downtime once play is done. He can be a little shy with strangers and might bark an alert, but settles fast with reassurance. As for sleep, Sonic is crate trained and sticks to a steady schedule overnight. Sonic is neutered and microchipped, and just needs one more vaccine before he’ll be ready for public places. He’s expected to stay on the small side, as his mom is just 22 pounds. Apartments aren’t the right setup for his needs. He’s ready to bring joy, gentle humor, and a soft paw to his new family in Hillsboro, OR. Click apply to start the adoption process.
