About Charlie
They tried to give up on Charlie more than once, but she just kept going. She went from severe neglect, then barely escaped a fire, and later wound up on a euthanasia list. Still, sheās hereātail wagging, full of hope, and not done fighting for her chance. Charlie is a 40-pound, rambunctious pit/Staffy mix who balances chaos with cuddles. She chases her tail like a champ, absolutely owns the game of fetch, and makes her opinions clear with her unmistakable woo-woo talk. You wonāt win a debate with Charlie, but youāll laugh trying. She loves people, sometimes to the point of being a bit overwhelming, so having someone who can guide her will help her settle. At her core, sheās crate and house trained, walks well on a prong collar, and knows basic commands. Sheās definitely mastered "no." Charlie is undergoing heartworm treatment right now and is available as a foster-to-adopt so she can heal in a home. She should be your only pet unless you have real experience with multi-dog households, and sheās best with kids 10 or older because of her exuberance. Make her story one of survival and joy.
