Cooper
AvailableCooper is a black, baby male pup in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a Dachshund/Golden Retriever mix, he’s about 2 months old and growing. He is up to date on vaccinations and will be neutered before adoption.
About Cooper
Cooper came to Abandoned Pet Rescue with his mom Bambi and siblings when they were barely a day old. Raised with care in a foster home, this 9-week-old is the only boy in his litter. DNA testing shows Cooper is more than half Golden Retriever, with the rest of his heritage coming from his mom, a small tan Dachshund/Chihuahua mix around 20 lbs. Cooper is likely to grow into a medium-sized dog, larger than his mother. Puppy basics are underway—he's just starting on potty and crate training and will need someone patient and committed to finishing the job. Cooper is healthy, loving, and ready for his next chapter—he's already microchipped, vaccinated, and will be neutered before adoption. He’s young, eager, and needs a home ready for the ups and downs of puppyhood. Cooper gets along well with other dogs and is a good match for homes with children looking to raise a young dog.
