About Gummy Bear
Gummy Bear is a squishy, cheerful little guy with a serious lap obsession. He’s got a quirky blue-tinted coat and we suspect Miniature Pinscher, Chihuahua, Kelpie, and Lancashire Heeler in the mix. Once he gets a chance to sniff you and pick up some food scents on your hands, Gummy warms right up and becomes your new shadow. At home, you’ll find him happy to jump right into your lap or snuggle underneath your bed at night. He comes loaded with playful, two-year-old energy and needs a home with a secure, physical fence (no electric fencing) or an adopter who enjoys brisk walks as much as he does. He lets you know if a stranger’s nearby and is content to be an alert sidekick. Gummy Bear is house trained if given enough time outside. He gets along with other dogs and enjoys playgroups, but because he tends to enthusiastically jump on people, older children would be a better fit. His experience with cats hasn’t been tested. Gummy Bear is neutered and current on vaccinations. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Gummy Bear
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Gummy Bear, being a mix of Miniature Pinscher and Chihuahua, thrives in an environment where he can spend time indoors with family but still enjoy plenty of exercise outside. He will do best in a home that values companionship and interactive play.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A small, secure yard is ideal for Gummy Bear, but he also does well in homes that prioritize regular walks and playtime. As long as he gets daily exercise, his mix adapts well to both apartments and houses.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mixes like Gummy Bear often do well with older children who understand not to be startled by enthusiastic jumping or play. He may be too exuberant for young children.
