About The River Pups
Crane is an outgoing Dutch Shepherd mix puppy, just under a year old, with unmistakable brindle coloring. He and his siblings were found in a rural area, and he's been thriving in foster care, soaking up attention from people and showing curiosity toward farm animals like horses, goats, and chickens. Crane gets along with cats, dogs, and has met plenty of new faces—he’s quick to investigate but just as quick to listen and move along when called off. Full of energy, Crane loves racing around the yard and can't wait to show off his place command on an elevated bed. He greets everyone with enthusiasm and is still working on keeping all four paws on the ground—sometimes jumping or grabbing for attention. He’s eager to please and busy learning boundaries, always with a grin and the hope of a belly rub. Crane enjoys wrestling with his siblings and bonds especially well with an adult female Dutch Shepherd at home. Ideally, he’d love a family that appreciates his silly streak and might have a well-socialized large female dog, although he’s just as happy to soak up all the attention as the only pet. This pup is ready for a home that gets his playful, loving spirit. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
