About Koda
Koda is an irresistibly cute Goldendoodle who lives for fetch. If youāve got a tennis ball, heās gameāagain and again. Athletic and bursting with energy, he keeps his foster family on their toes with endless rounds of ball chasing and playful runs. Yet, when the day winds down, Koda turns into a snuggler whoās just as happy curled up by your side. Heās always ready with affection, carrying himself with easy charm and good house manners. Leash walks come easy to him and he loves car rides. Heās mastered a whole set of commands, responds to hand signals, and is both house and crate trained. Koda previously lived with the same family since puppyhood, but heartbreakingly lost his daily canine companion and human brother when they moved out. Life without company didnāt suit him, so he was surrendered to rescue so heād never be left alone all day. In his foster home, heās happiest with daily walks, regular play, and a buddy dog who shares his energy. Koda does well with other dogs, though he isnāt comfortable with cats. For Koda to thrive, he needs a home with a tall, secure fence (no chain link, since heās a climber), a playful dog friend his size and energy, and adults or kids older than five. Heāll be three in August, is neutered, current on vaccinations, wormed, and microchipped, and weighs 58 lbs. His birthday makes him a Sagittariusāno wonder heās so playful and adventurous. Koda is in Jacksonville, FL and needs a family in NE Florida or SE Georgia, who can commit to daily fetch and companionship. If you want a companion who will keep you moving and make your couch feel extra cozy, Kodaās the one. Letās make it official, apply to adopt!
