About Red

Red has spent the longest time with us, and he's ready for a new start. This cheerful pittie mix is about 4 years old and was rescued with a group of dogs from a hurricane-affected Florida shelter in 2024. After a year and a half in rescue, he still hasn’t found his person. Red pours out energy and affection—he loves playing outside, running with staff, and soaking up attention from volunteers. He’s fully housetrained and is always up for a foster stay or a day out with one of his favorite humans. Red is the kind of dog who will make you smile every day. He does best with female dogs and gravitates toward women—both canine and human. His adoption fee is waived because he’s waited long enough for his forever home. Red’s goofy, loving nature makes him a standout companion who’s ready to give his all to the right family. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
