About Jessie
Jessie started out life with barely any human contact, just trying to survive outdoors. She came in as a stray, and only after some time did her original owner surface—but her first year was spent mostly alone. She had a litter of puppies, all of whom went on to be adopted out, but Jessie herself struggled in shelters. It was only when a dedicated foster opened up her home that Jessie finally learned what kindness and patience feel like. That gentle, daily work with Jessie changed her entire world. She made it from a garage to full-time indoor living, and she’s soaking up every minute. These days, Jessie is a sweet, playful, and generally happy dog who still has a shy side. Give her a little time to warm up—she’s loyal and affectionate once she trusts you. She does great with other dogs, and she’s both house and crate trained. She’ll need a secure, fenced yard and a patient adopter who understands this transition is still new for her. Seeing Jessie finally get to enjoy life is rewarding for everyone who’s met her. She’s looking for a home that will give her the patience and second chance she deserves. Start your journey together! Apply now.
