About Brighton

Brighton is a small Maltese mix fostered in Houston, TX, and has shown remarkable resilience after losing his right front leg due to an injury. Now a nimble tripod, he’s adapted incredibly well—hopping on furniture, getting in cars, and following his foster wherever she goes. Affection is a given: he’s a lap dog at heart and spends his nights sleeping beside his person. Brighton gets along with other dogs, though he’s not much for rowdy play. He mostly ignores cats and is content doing his own thing. House trained and good on a leash, he’s ready for a quiet, loving home where he can get plenty of attention. Brighton is best suited for an experienced dog owner, and the rescue requires there be no children under 8 in the home. Vaccinations are current, he’s neutered, microchipped, and kept up to date on monthly preventatives. The adoption fee is sponsored and his transport is arranged through Mighty Mutt Shipping.
