Brighton is in foster care in Houston, texas.. the adoption fee includes the transportation with Mighty Mutt Shipping if interested there is an application on our website houstonshaggydogrescue.org This precious little approx 2 year old , 11 lb Maltese mix arrived at our local animal shelter with gunshot wounds to his right front leg, the leg was shattered and the vets could not repair it and sadly it had to be amputated..he has adapted really well to being a tripod and gets around really well, and can hop up in a car and the couch etc.. Nothing seems to slow him down.he is his fosters best friend and follows her everywhere, he loves sitting on her lap and sleeps on her bed at night. He gets along with the other dogs but is not one for playing with them a lot and he seems to ignore the fosters cats..he is house trained and does well on a leash, this sweet boy needs a home where he can get lots of Tlc , The adoption fee is $500 and includes the transportation. we do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years and must be an experienced dog owner All of our dogs are spayed/neutered.. up to date on all shots and boosters, microchipped and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives..
