Lexie
AvailableLexie is a mixed breed Border Collie with a medium build, sporting a short coat in black, cream, and chocolate brown. She’s a baby female and currently not spayed, but she is vaccinated. Though she isn’t house trained just yet, she keeps her space quite clean and is making progress on potty habits as long as she’s on a schedule. Lexie is being fostered in Kankakee, IL, where she is learning the ropes of family life.
About Lexie
Lexie was the last of her feral litter to be trapped out in Oklahoma, a bit behind her brothers, but she settled in well. She keeps her crate and the house spotless, and although she's still learning the ropes of potty training, Lexie does great as long as she sticks to a schedule—no accidents when given a routine. Right now, she's growing up surrounded by kids, dogs, and cats, and she even seems unbothered by the neighbor’s chickens. Lexie isn't just adaptable; she’s looking for a family that wants more than "just a pet"—she’ll become the kind of dog who builds real bonds. After some time away from her siblings, expect her personality to flourish. Lexie’s both loving and receptive, ready to lean into family life and her next big adventure. Your new best friend is just one click away.
