Lovey was found living in a shed in rural Alabama. We don’t know how long she was there or how many hard days she’s had behind her, but it’s clear life hasn’t always been kind to this senior girl. What we do know is that Lovey deserves better from here on out. She’s calm, quiet, and asks for so little. A soft bed. A warm home. Someone who sees the value in an old dog with tired eyes and a loving heart. The kind of person with a soft spot for seniors — the kind who understands that sometimes the dogs who need the least are the ones who deserve the most. Lovey isn’t looking for adventure. She’s looking for peace. For comfort. For someone to spoil her for however many days, months, or years she has left. And we think she deserves that more than anything.
