About Toffee

Meet Toffee, the sweetest little cuddle bug whose gentle personality is every bit as sweet as her name. This precious girl has already overcome so much in her young life, yet she continues to greet the world with love, affection, and a grateful heart. Toffee and her sibling, Butterscotch (also available for adoption), were found in Tennessee barely alive beside a pile of trash bags -- emaciated, weak, and fighting to survive. Thankfully, a kind person rushed them to a local shelter, where one of our Southern fosters stepped in to give them the second chance they so desperately needed. Before arriving at her current foster home, Toffee was bitten by another rescued dog and needed veterinary care and medication. Thankfully, she is healing very well and continues to blossom more each day. Despite everything she has been through, Toffee is incredibly loving and affectionate with everyone she meets. It almost feels as though she knows how lucky she was to be rescued. She enjoys the company of both dogs and cats in her foster home and has been a wonderful little house guest. She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate without any issues and is making great progress with potty training. Toffee is truly an endearing puppy who deserves a family that will shower her with the love, patience, and continued puppy training she needs as she grows. In return, she promises endless snuggles, loyalty, and joy. If you're looking for a sweet, resilient pup to add to your family, Toffee is ready to steal your heart. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time?
