Dandie is a small, easygoing mixed-breed dog who makes a wonderful sidekick in daily life. His calm, gentle nature shines whether he’s lounging on the couch or tagging along for errands and coffee runs. Dandie prefers being included in everything, thriving as the loyal “shadow” by your side, always ready for cuddles or a cozy nap. You’ll find him happiest in simple routines: soft blankets, belly rubs, and sharing time with his favorite people. Though mostly quiet, Dandie will treat you to the occasional bark or playful howl that breaks up the calm in a charming way. He loves car rides, especially when he can sniff out the window, and he takes nicely to walks—enjoying the world at your pace while sticking close. Dandie has solid house manners and does well on a schedule. He walks on leash without pulling and can do just fine without a fenced yard, but extra safety never hurts. He gets along with other dogs and children, adding to his easygoing nature. Dandie landed back in rescue after his previous owner’s circumstances changed, through no fault of his own. He’s neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and has even had a recent dental.
