Herbie is a handsome American Corgi (cross of Pembroke & Cardigan). He came to us when he didn't pass the health screening for a service dog, due to bad hips. Herbie is neutered, UTD on shots, tested for Giardia/Coccidia, Parvo, Heartworm(negative for all), and chipped. Herbie isn't in pain or slowed down with his hip issues and his foster is being proactive to put those possible issues in distant future by having stairs for him to avoid jumping high distances, joint supplements, mild exercise, and keeping his weight lean. He is a gentle natured boy that does use potty pads and is working on getting rid of those. He gets along with children, dogs and cats. We are looking for a home that will continue proactive measures to keep Herbie pain free and mobile for many years. Herbie will need a fenced yard as he likes to go meet new friends in the neighborhood.
