About Liesel
Liesel is a striking young Rottweiler rescued as a stray from the streets of Philly, now settling into life in Patterson, NY. She greets everyone she meets with eager affection and thrives on interactive play—her favorite thing in the world is a good game of tug or time with her Jolly ball. Liesel has a gift for using her nose on walks and is wonderfully expressive, making it easy to see what she’s feeling at any moment. Before rescue, she had little exposure to other dogs, so professional trainers introduced her gently and safely to socialization with canine friends. Through a Board and Train program, she exceeded expectations, learning not just dog manners but obeying basic cues and participating in group pack walks and social sessions. Liesel is a genuine charmer and aims to please, making her a joy to work with and easy to bond with. Her adopter will need to continue her successful training with a couple of sessions alongside her trainer, to keep cues consistent and reinforce her new habits. Liesel has not been cat tested yet, and children in her future home should be at least 10 years old. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
