So, I'm adorable. You know it, and I know it. But I'm also a Shiba Inu, so I have a whole lot of intelligence and can be a little stubborn at times. I'm a quick learner though, and I've really settled into the routines in my foster home! Right now I really enjoy being around my foster mom, but I'm a little more unsure of my foster dad (in typical Shiba fashion, it seems like I bond more to one individual). Once I get to know you, I enjoy pets and cuddles, but in a new situation I need some time to observe and take things in before I participate. My foster mom and I really enjoy cuddling at night while she reads her books! I do need a fenced yard, and preferably not chain link. I'm a good climber. As a typical Shiba, I also like to explore, so hopefully you're ready to keep me contained and safe! Once I get to know you I'll probably do well in my yard, but I may grow curious time to time. I am potty trained and do well in my kennel as needed. I live with a few other dogs right now, and tolerate them, but prefer the lower energy ones. I like walks, and have been doing great at walking on a leash! My foster mom says her dogs should take tips from me! A house without young children would be best for me, as I prefer calmer temperaments and keep my social circles small. Overall, I'm a sweet gal who is going to LOVE her chosen person! *Preference will be given to those who have experience with or have done research on the Shiba Inu breed.
