Meet #Nazareth Another sweet soul has found himself sitting in a loud, overcrowded shelter… and honestly, we just can’t understand how a little guy this cute ended up here. Nazareth is about 5 years old and only around 30–35 pounds — the perfect petite size. Definitely Heeler in him mixed with a whole bunch of adorable. His speckled little legs, sweet eyes, and gentle personality make him impossible not to fall in love with. He’s been very well behaved since arriving. Even though he’s currently staying in a crate, he keeps it absolutely spotless and tries so hard to be a good boy. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys getting out for fresh air, and just seems so confused by all the chaos around him. The constant barking and shelter stress are a lot for a little guy like Nazareth, and you can tell he’s a little scared trying to adjust. But underneath all that uncertainty is such a sweet, loving dog who just wants someone to slow down, give him a chance, and show him what a real home feels like again. We would truly love to get Nazareth out of the shelter and into a calm, loving home as soon as possible. He deserves soft beds, quiet mornings, belly rubs, and someone to tell him he’s safe now.
