Meet Bubbles! Bubbles is a beautiful blonde PomChi born in October 2018, and she’s the definition of a tiny dog with a big heart once she feels safe. She is the sibling to Bubba and has a gentle, loving personality hidden beneath a shy first impression. When meeting new people, Bubbles can be very nervous and may initially hide in her crate or a small quiet space like a bathroom. She may bark or growl out of fear, but she is completely harmless. The best way to win her trust is to simply give her space on the first day and let her come around at her own pace. By the second day, gentle approaches and soft chin scratches usually start melting her worries away. She especially loves having her ears and chin rubbed and becomes incredibly affectionate once she feels secure. Bubbles is housebroken when kept on a routine and responds well to “Let’s go potty, outside!” She will also use pee pads if she cannot get outside regularly. Her crate is her comfort zone and safe space — she enjoys sleeping there but would much rather curl up beside her favorite person. This sweet girl enjoys being pampered and behaves wonderfully for grooming and nail trims. Her fluffy coat does require weekly combing and professional grooming every 6–8 weeks to keep her looking and feeling her best. Bubbles loves children of all ages and enjoys being close to her people. She can be protective of her favorite person, especially while sitting on their lap, and may try to warn others away with a nip if she feels protective. She also likes to alert her family when someone enters the home.
