Sox is a tiger-white shorthair who is eager to find someone who'll hug, cuddle, and kiss him all day! You might mistake him for a pair of actual socks with how often he'll be right by your feet, lovingly following you all around! Before joining the Whiskers family, Sox lived on the streets. He had been severely injured, but after receiving proper vet care for his wounds, he is more than ready to leave his former life behind! Sox loves a cozy spot to sleep, a mat to scratch, a toy to wrestle, and a human to cuddle. If you're looking for a new pair of soft, warm, and fuzzy socks, Sox might just be the right cat for you! Sox is FIV positive, however, many kitties with FIV live as long and as healthfully as other cats, as long as they receive good nutrition and good medical care. FIV is very difficult to transmit between cats, and poses no health risk to humans. It is spread primarily among cats through deep, penetrating bite wounds. Sox live as the only kitty in the house, with other FIV+ kitties, or even with kitties who don't have the virus if they are not aggressive.
