About Pandy Paws
MEET PANDY PAWS🐾 Pandy Paws is affectionately called “Slinky” or “Ferret” around the house because of his awkwardly adorable build and the way he wiggles and moves when he gets excited. He’s pure Border Collie, 7 1/2 months old, and currently weighs about 28 lbs. If you’re seeking a young dog who thrives on action, mental challenges, and time outdoors, Pandy’s your match. He needs structure, daily activity—hiking, running, or agility training would all be great outlets—and someone who enjoys getting outside as much as he does. He’s a smart, responsive pup, already impressing his fosters with how quickly he picks up training routines when you stick with it. Pandy’s leash manners are still a work in progress, especially at the start of a walk, when his excitement can get the best of him. Once he gets moving, though, he calms down and pays attention. He sometimes gets nervous or a bit reactive with unfamiliar dogs, but he’s done well with his foster brother and benefits from slow introductions and an owner who understands canine body language. At home, Pandy is a total softie. He adores kids—his playful, affectionate side comes out in full force with them—and he loves a good cuddle session between play times. He’s happiest outdoors with his people. He is house trained, too. Pandy needs an active forever home that can keep up with both his silly energy and his loving personality. A fenced yard is a must. With the right balance of structure, exercise, and love, he’ll be a loyal companion who gives as much as he gets. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
