About Jazz

The biographical information provided is correct to the best of our knowledge while the animal is in our care or includes what may have been provided by a previous owner. We strive to be honest and accurate, but animals can change their personalities and behavior when they settle into a new home. IDR+ makes no guarantees based on the information we observe and provide. Jazz is a 4½-year-old Boston Terrier with a huge personality packed into her adorably chunky 34-pound frame. She’s a sweet, affectionate girl who loves being around people and will happily climb into your lap to shower you with kisses whenever possible. Jazz is potty trained, sleeps quietly through the night in her crate, and has done well meeting young children. She’s playful, active, and always up for fetch, tug-of-war, or convincing someone to rub her belly. She’s also shown a lot of interest in playing with the resident dog, but since the resident dog is a laid-back senior, she hasn’t exactly matched Jazz’s enthusiasm. We think Jazz would do great with another playful dog who enjoys a little rumpusing. Jazz is currently working on getting into better shape, and she’s already embracing the lifestyle with regular walks and playtime. Luckily, being active comes naturally to her. She can get a little overly excited sometimes, but she responds well to redirection and correction. Overall, she’s a pretty easy dog whose main goal is to live her best life. The best way to describe Jazz is that she’s pure joy. She dramatically lays on her back for belly rubs, snores through naps like she pays the bills, and somehow makes everything funnier just by existing. Her goofy personality, happy energy, and endless love for attention make her impossible not to smile around. If you’re looking for a dog that will keep you laughing, keep you company, and fully commit to being your little shadow, Jazz is ready to audition for the role.
