About Morgan
Morgan is a mature Rottweiler, weighing in over 90 pounds and looking for either a foster or a forever home. He’s a classic loyal Rottie with a strong protective streak, especially for his person—he tends to gravitate to women but can bond equally well with the right man. Morgan isn’t suited for farm life, and he doesn’t care for certain vets. Physically, he’s a bit flat-footed with some arthritis, so homes with stairs aren’t ideal. Daily glucosamine treats keep him comfortable, and he gets around just fine otherwise. Morgan absolutely needs someone familiar with Rottweilers or big working breeds. He’ll do best in a quiet household—preferably with a single person or couple who wants a devoted shadow. While he’s managed with some dogs in the past, he’ll thrive as the only animal in the home. He is currently in Ventura, CA, but he can be transported to Oregon for the right adopter. Ready for a loyal companion who treats you like the center of his universe?
