<p class="isSelectedEnd">Meet Liza!</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">This tiny little cutie was found roaming with her mom, who appears to be a Yorkie mix, and we have no doubt mom may have had a little "date" with a Dachshund along the way! In the designer breed world they call that mix a "Dorkie" but we think "Doxshire" sounds much more fitting for this little princess!</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Liza is absolutely tiny, weighing only around 5 pounds as of May 15th, and she is estimated to have been born around March 5th of this year. She is current on puppy vaccines, prevention, and has already been wormed.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Now let's talk about what kind of home this little girl needs! Because she is so small and very quick, she MUST have a securely fenced yard for her safety. She does well with children, but we feel older children (around 10 and up) would be safest simply because she is so tiny and could accidentally be dropped or stepped on.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Liza also needs another playful canine companion already established in the home. Puppies learn so much from other dogs, and another dog will help continue her social skills, confidence, and playtime needs far more than humans alone can. Having a canine buddy also helps prevent boredom and separation anxiety and thanks to her foster dog friends, she currently has none of those issues!</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">She is also great with cats!</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Liza is kennel trained, eats in her kennel, sleeps in her kennel, and this smart little girl wakes up every morning with a clean and dry kennel. She truly is a wonderful puppy!</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">Liza will need to be spayed prior to adoption. For approved local applicants, we do offer a Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program until she is old enough for surgery (typically around 1416 weeks).
