Meet Buddy! This 13 year old, 11lb Maltipoo was turned into the shelter by his owner because they thought he was too old. Too old for what?! This guy is taking the city by storm!!! He loves walks, people and cuddles. A perfect fit for almost any family. (he's freshly shaved due to matting, but his coat is coming in beautiful and healthy!) His foster mom says: "Buddy is: Sweet, adaptable, calm, affectionate, easygoing Buddy loves being near his people and enjoys cuddling, but he is also perfectly content relaxing on his own. Buddy is very sweet and gentle with adults, children, and new people. He is very social and friendly with other dogs. He is fostered with other dogs. He enjoys engaging with them on walks He is good with cats. When left alone, Buddy usually naps, relaxes on the couch, or quietly entertains himself with toys. He is calm and does not bark indoors or outside. Buddy is house trained. Excellent on leash — no pulling. Buddy enjoys walks, relaxing around the house, cuddling, sniffing outdoors, and socializing with other dogs. For a senior dog, he has great stamina and enjoys long walks and outdoor activities, but he is equally happy resting at home afterward. Buddy enjoys other dogs but is also independent enough to be happy as an only dog. He is calm to moderately active. He would enjoy a peaceful home but also seems like he’d happily join outdoor adventures and hikes. He is perfect for someone looking for a loving, adaptable companion who is affectionate without being demanding. What stands out most about Buddy is how trusting and loving he remains despite losing his owner and going through major life changes. He clearly wants to be part of a home and family again.
