About Jack

Jack’s had a rough start, but his story turns around fast. He’s a young Maltipoo who spent his early life misunderstood by his first family. They missed signs that he’s deaf and, after labeling him as difficult, surrendered him to a shelter where he completely shut down. Jack arrived with a severely matted coat causing painful sores, but once groomed, he changed. Out came a sweet, funny, and silly dog eager to connect. Being unable to hear, Jack is now learning hand signals and looks to his person for clear guidance. He loves being outdoors, is playful, and thrives on attention. His skin has healed, he’s now neutered and fully vaccinated, and he’s bounced back as a cheerful, affectionate companion ready to start again. Jack gets along with dogs and does well with kids. He just needs someone who will be patient and understanding of his needs. Ready to meet him in Audubon, NJ? Give this boy the second chance he deserves. Click apply to start the adoption process.
