*Coonhound *8 yrs old; 70lbs *Lovely old timer who is chill, kind and in desperate need of a soft spot to rest his elderly bones. Dog friendly. Visually impaired. Sibling is Napoleon. Our most regal, elegant, old timer hound LAFAYETTE has worked hard his whole life only to wind up with no place to call home in his golden years. ĀAbout 8 yrs in age, ĀLafayette looks pretty worn and elderly but his spirit and kindness still shine through and he's hoping YOU will come and discover it!! ĀLafayette is working hard on regrowing his coat (flea dermatitisĀravaged it) and clearing up the infection in his eyes (they are green goopy). Ā He struggles a bit in seeing but still gets around like the champ he is. ĀGently guiding him on a leash and avoiding potential obstacles allowsĀhim to still enjoy one of his greatest sources of joy...scents, whiffs and smells! ĀOh, the hound in him!! ĀOtherwise, Āhe's perfect in every way and has plenty of love and companionship to offer his last and finalĀfamily. ĀHe seems fine with other dogs and graced with a very carefree, laissez-faire attitude, it might seem nothing at all bothers him. Our gentle man hopes soon you will come for him so he can learn the ropes in your home. ĀNavigating the shelter maze, noise and energy is a lot to ask of him. ĀHound lovers wherefore art thou??
