About Brittany
Brittany is a spayed, two-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound who turns heads everywhere she goes. At just 40 pounds, she’s small for her breed—a pocket-size hound with boundless energy. Brittany thrives in a home with a large fenced yard where she can run and play. Formerly a hunting dog, she found herself displaced but has adapted well to suburban life, gradually gaining confidence with new sights and sounds. She’s bashful at first, but it doesn’t take long for her to warm up and show real affection. Leash walks are a strong point for Brittany—she’s steady and calm, even on long outings. She’s house trained and hasn’t had accidents as long as she’s on a regular schedule. Brittany’s best moments are when she’s cuddling—a true velvety-coated snuggler who wraps her front paws around you for a good, long hug. She enjoys the company of other young, playful dogs her size but would also do fine as a solo pet. Brittany does not get along with cats. It’s rare to meet a Treeing Walker Coonhound with her spirit and charm. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
