About Waldo
Meet Waldo—yes, that Waldo, and this time you’ve finally found him. Waldo is gentle, easygoing, and stands out for all the right reasons. He’s the classic laid-back companion who prefers to quietly earn his place in your heart rather than demand attention. Stocky and compact, he’s best described as a “short king” built for maximum lounging and cuddles. Waldo thrives on being close to his people. He’s happiest as a dedicated couch potato, enjoying soft pets and returning the affection with genuine loyalty. With his low to medium energy, he only needs a good walk and plenty of relaxing time at home to be content. His temperament is drama-free—steady, respectful, and never overbearing. He’s food-motivated and eager to continue learning. Waldo already knows “sit,” is picking up “stay,” and is gaining confidence with “leave it” and “drop it.” While he sometimes pulls on lead, he responds well to calm, treat-based correction. Waldo does well around dog-savvy children over 8 with slow introductions and clear boundaries. He shows positive curiosity with other dogs; thoughtful, gradual meet-and-greets will set him up for success. He hasn’t met cats yet. If you’ve been on the search for a calm, loving companion, consider it over. Waldo is ready for his next big adventure. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
